Think Rated R, not NC-17. But also definitely not PG-13 😅
The “F Bomb” gets dropped quite a few times. This is due to character development & experience, ranging from “real world exposure” in modern USA to simply being deeply traumatized war veterans who’ve seen things they never should have.
Occasionally, an insult/slur might be thrown, but it’s always clear that’s an insult/slur and is responded to accordingly. I.e. a high lord who calls the FMC “the B Word” gets decked in the face by her father.
